SlipKnot Bassist Found Dead
May 25, 2010how sad to hear that another rock star was found dead in his hotel room
for now the reasons behind his death are still unknown
the bassist for slipknot, paul gray, was found dead may 24, 2010
slipknot was one of the bands i admired from the so called nu metal era
there was something about the band i could not pin when i first heard them so i instantly liked them although i hated all the other nu metal bands
( i did learn to appreciate some of the better ones as time progressed though)
going back to paul gray, he wasn’t really what you’d call a superstar since he was hidden behind a mask, but the contribution he’s made to slipknot is definitely something that can not be replaced
He had a weird way of playing bass in a numetal band. Unlike the rest of the horde he did not rely on 1 note bass thumps, he also employed bass runs, slapping etcetera etcetera and he also used weird tunings like ADGE or BEAD instead of the usual EADG
I hope this does not derail Slipknot in a major way. I hope even without Paul they’ll continue so that his contribution to the metal world won’t be wasted
sigh
R.I.P. Mr. Paul Gray
Generation I versus Generation H
May 23, 2010As our technology and everyday processes get faster and faster and automated to help us receive everything immediately our patience and appreciation for hard work disappears.
Welcome to Generation I.
Generation Impatient.
Generation Ignorant.
The generation of instant gratification
People are getting more and more impatient and just don’t put any more value into hard work.
They want something and they want it now and will do everything no matter how foolish just to get it.
Let’s take a step back and revisit Generation H
Generation Hard Work
Generation Honesty
A follow up to how to get referrals
April 15, 2010I was asked to PM someone for me to share my secrets in getting referrals
well I might as well share this to everyone
now please remember that this works for me and may not work for you so try to make the necessary adjustments as you see fit
ok?
here you go
1. Create a blog. This will serve as your online store/footprint/establishment for people to go to and check out the idea you’re pushing. Make sure it’s kinda easy to remember and treat it as if it were a serious office. If you have a blog about your diary or other everyday goings on, keep it separate or at least don’t mix it up with the topics you intend for others to see. Keep it on a separate page.
This is going to be the you people want to see, trust and get information from. They want to make money as well not know what clothes you wore today or beach you went to.
Make it clean and easy on the eyes. And memorable.
2. Know what it is you’re pushing, you may not become a 100% certified expert on the subject but if you know a great deal of information, you’ll be able to guide you’re intended referrals on the dos and don’ts. Research and experience it firsthand. On the sites I’ve joined up with, I made sure I got the benefits first before actually asking people to join up.
3. Invest in people. Talk to them, educate them and assist them in any way possible. Keep the lines of communication open between you and them and never let emotions stand in the way of helping them out. You are the product, the boss, the customer service etcetera, etcetera, etcetera… You’ve sold yourself to them and after sales customer service is the key to keeping them loyal to you.
4. Advertise, advertise, advertise. You’ve experienced it firsthand, now walk the walk and talk the talk. A great source of sharpening your skills would be your friends, workmates, family etcetera. Through them you will be able to know what works and what doesn’t when you do your sales pitch. Never give them false promises. Be honest in all of your dealings.
5. Have fun. Yes, have fun, enjoy what you’re doing for it will truly show and you’ll be able to sustain yourself in those lean months if you enjoy doing what you’re doing regardless of all the obstacles you will face. Like people turning you down even before you’ve completed the first part of your sales pitch
That’s all for now
I hope everyone’s doing well with whatever they’re doing to make money online

and this one
and the most important thing, advertise, advertise, advertise. I have referrals in almost all of these places, so i’m also earning through them and compensating them by helping them out every now and then.
rejection will come in every size and shape but if you forge your own path you should be able to really earn out of these places.

my earning online was actually just something I’d been thinking about before I joined. Now I found out my drummer was making a lot of money too and he referred me to Neobux and it started from there. I actually have more referrals than him now but he benefits from my little experimentation.
I made a goal, I reached my goal now I’m looking to surpass that.
and also don’t be stingy with the information. Share it.
PTC Business - Why?
April 4, 2010why?
that’s the biggest question I always get when I try to market it to people from all walks of life
why are these companies paying us to click on ads?
Neobux: The Basics
April 3, 2010Heya guys,
Here’s a simple walkthrough on how you can be on your way to being a success in Neobux. Yeah, I spent a whole lot of time just reading the TOS and the forums and then I came up with this. The Absolute Basics
NeoBux Users Using Globe Tattoo Broadband Dongle
April 2, 2010Hello guys,
How much have you invested in Neobux?
I’m not asking for figures really, just the ordinary answers like: I spend 5 minutes a day clicking and a few more checking the forums or adding messages to the forum.
Ok well I’ve invested a bit more of my time than I care to admit logging in everyday to click on ads and then trolling through the forums for tips and tricks which I can share. But I guess the biggest thing I’ve done so far is buy a Globe Tattoo USB Dongle for broadband internet (kinda slow when compared to my home network). because I am like probably a majority of people nowadays, quite mobile.
I have my band, my work, my comic book thingie and I do a lot of talking to a lot of people.
Well everytime I log in to Neobux and try to click on an ad it says another IP address has clicked on the same ad. I researched some more and this is caused by having a Dynamic IP address which means your IP address or the numbers indicating your internet connection is constantly changing. it’s the set of numbers you’ll see when you check your connection.
Globe Tattoo uses a Dynamic IP address.
Now just like most of you who have invested a bit in Neobux I don’t want my account banned so I tried looking for answers and it came to me that IMEI numbers are quite unique, so I sent in a query to Neobux if we could register our IMEI numbers to them just so they could check that that person is not using his USB broadband dongle to cheat and at least let us click on our ads without having to worry about being banned or it saying another IP address has clicked on the ad.
If you have the same issue it’s easy to email them and ask for support and they do respond. So if a lot more Globe Tattoo Broadband USB users or other network users like Smart bro, sun and others email in that type of request maybe, just maybe we will end up with them putting in some type of tolerance for that and we’ll be able to click on ads without any problems.
So help me out. Email them the same thing about letting us register our IMEI numbers with them so that they know we’re legit users and not out to cheat
Happy clicking
Make Money Online with Neobux
March 30, 2010Making Money Online with: Neobux
Heya guys,
I don’t wanna go into a long winded discussion as to how you can make your Neobux really work for you as there are a lot of topics posted on the forums at the main site.
Let me just tell you this though, Neobux starts out slow… really, really slow… but like a rolling stone it builds up speed as soon as you hit the right slope.
Yep, there’s a reason why it’s the best PTC out there.
So here are some basic tips. (This is applicable to all PTCs or moneymaking sites you’re on.)
1. Don’t cheat - Yep, I listed this as my number 1 tip as I have heard people talking about “clicker bots” or whatever. I say, shortcuts usually end up in failure. Just be patient, everything will pay out soon in the end. Or every end of the month for that matter hehehe
2. Only 1 account is allowed per PC - and that means only 1. Don’t ever let anyone create an account in Neobux on your PC as it will spell ultimate doom to your account no matter how much you’ve already earned or invested.
3. Click religiously - make it a daily habit. It’s only 5 minutes of your time per day anyway. I bet even if you just maintain Neobux and Mylot for the rest of your time online it’ll pay off. I’ll talk about MyLot in the next couple of topics though.
————
Now to the more serious stuff I learned just by trolling through FAQs and other blogs and getting tips from veteran PTC users (is this even the correct term?)
This is for Neobux:
1. As soon as you have registered either read up on the FAQs and forums or start clicking the available ads.
2. Click on ads religiously everyday til you reach 0.75 the server resets at 14.01 EDT (in the Philippines that’s 2:01PM) (and yes I stayed up just to wait for it to refresh… hehehe talk about geeky eh? I did it for you guys, whether you’re under me or not haha)
3. As soon as you have 0.75 (Which usually happens on the 19th day of being a member (0.04 x 20 = 0.80)) buy 3 referrals. As soon as you have 3 referrals (this only applies to my direct referrals, email me) turn on Autopay and watch as they click for you everyday. I made a graph to check on how many they click per day and I get a cool average of 2 to 3 clicks per rented referral.
4. On the 30th day of your being a Neobux member start advertising by word of mouth, through your blog, etcetera, etcetera. The point here is for you to get direct referrals as opposed to rented referrals. With direct referrals you can talk to them and remind them every now and then to click and others. Remember to help your direct referrals too so that they enjoy being a member.
5. On the same day you’ll most probably be able to rent a few more referrals and this is the time that you will use the little help I’ll send to you which requires you to email me in Step 3.
6. Upgrade to Golden or Ultimate whichever you want to earn more (Although I suggest you wait til you have a few hundred direct or rented referrals, but then it’s your call) per day.
7. Monitor your referrals everyday (Like I said I made a graph to monitor my direct and rented referrals just to get a statistical overview on their clicking habits) For rented referrals there are a lot of tips and tricks on how to manage them in the forums. For direct referrals, all you really have to do is remind them every now and then to click at least once a day.
*** Technical Stuff***
This is for Rented Referrals:
a. Recycle Referrals who have not clicked for 4 days and have less than 1.2 on their average clicks
b. Recycle referrals who have not clicked for 5 days and have less than 1.5 on their average clicks
c. Recycle rented referrals who have not clicked on anything for 7 days no matter what their Average is (Except if you suspect the rented referral is Golden or Ultimate, they usually have a higher number of clicks per day)
d. For Those who have not clicked for more than 10 days don’t bother recycling them, let auto recycle do it for you free.
*Never, ever recycle a Ref who is clicking everyday, even if it’s only 1 click a day - from ibuansary
**Make sure to lock all good rented referrals, Golden and Ultimate.
***End of Technical stuff***
Advertise, advertise, advertise… never let fear stop you keep telling people about it and always shed a positive light to it. By your first month you will have something to show to them to change even the most adamant person as long as you express to them that you want to share your blessings. After all, you’re not asking them to pay you anything right?

Asian Institute of Distance Education
March 29, 2010Hey out there!
This is for college kids in the philippines.
Have you ever gotten tired of travelling to school?
Do you want to lower the cost of your tuition but still get a quality education to help your parents out?
Let’s be classmates!
I’m currently studying at AIDE
It’s Asian Institute of Distance Education and I’m currently taking up BS Business Administration while working in a Call Center. It’s a great way to learn as I control my time and pace by which I study.
I send the tests back to them and I get results after a few days
It’s also certified by CHED so you don’t have to worry about it being a fly by night college. It’s been in existence for years and no I do not get any commission for every referred student.
I just want to have a weekly group of people to study with probably at Starbucks or CoffeeBean.
It’s not expensive and I can show you how to get there.
Here’s their website:

Monthly Budget Plan
Step 1 - Determine your total monthly income
Step 2 - Set aside 10% of your total monthly income and put it in the bank and forget about it
Step 3 - Allot 32 days per month no matter what month it is and divide by 2 (This is for inflation purposes that way your budget will always include an extra day’s budget per 15 days which is the normal pay out for employed people) which will mean for every payout you alloted 16 days budget for yourself. You will then not have a reason for saying “oh sheesh, my budget didn’t reach the 15th of the month!”.
Step 4 - Determine your needs
Transportation - because you need to get to work to get paid for the day
Food - Because you need fuel for your number one investment, your body
Hygiene - Of course this is part of taking care of your body
Clothing - this should be in wants, but it is a necessity to be dressed up for work right?
Communication - this can be put into Utilities as well if you are on a monthly plan
Determine your Utilities - these are the things you pay on a monthly basis (phone bill, electricity, rent, etcetera)
Step 5 - From your Needs and Utilities add all that up and that will be your monthly budget, all the rest become your Wants now
Wants - anything you want to do with the rest of your money
Here’s how it works:
let’s say you earn 20K (This is just an example)
Monthly income divided by 2 - 20,000.00 divided by 2 is 10,000.00
10% which goes to the bank is 1,000.00
Money in hand for 16 days = 9,000.00
Needs
Transportation - 100.00 per day x 16 days = 1600
Food - 100.00 per day x 16 days = 1600
Hygiene - 500.00 good for 16 days = 500
Clothing - 1000.00 for 16 days = 1000
Communications 1000.00 for 16 days = 1000
Total needs equals = 5,700
Utilities (half of monthly bill
rent = 1250
water = 100
electricity = 500
Total Utilities for 1st half of month = 1,850
Add the Needs and Utilities = 7,550
Subtract this total from cash on hand = 9,000.00 - 7,550.00 = 1,350.00
Wants = 1,350.00
*** Now if you have any money left from the 16 day budget for Needs and Utilities, you can choose to add it to your Wants or add it to your savings.***
This is your basic computation for each half of the month. You can make adjustments here and there but if you stick to this plan you won’t be in trouble of not reaching the next payout.
Now if you think this isn’t much…. then you probably aren’t earning as much as you need. So find a way to make you earnings multiply and reach the comfortable level that you want to be in.
Just remember to:
1. Save 10% of your total earnings
2. Properly budget your Needs and Utilities per 16 days (15 + 1)
3. Enjoy what is left of your money on Wants
I have heard of people saving up 50% of their monthly income but that just defeats the purpose of having money… now unless you intend to invest that and that is the reason why you are sacrificing too much go ahead… but there will come a day that you will splurge because you did not indulge yourself with your monthly wants. I’m not saying it’s bad to save up more than 10% it’s just that you’re not enjoying your money anymore which will lead to unnecessary stress that may then result to overspending.
Tell me if this works for you

Money Making Online
March 28, 2010well here we go… I started doing online Networking and here’s what I do everyday…
So far it’s worked for me and I hope it works for you too
I know some people are selling these tips online but I’d rather share em for free since that’s the whole point in Networking anyway… Share, share, share
In the end you earn some money and gain friends online and hopefully offline as well
always a good thing!
The People’s Franchise
July 4, 2006Never believe that Networking is a “Get-Rich-Quick” opportunity. If you do, you are setting yourself up for one very BIG disappointment.
Networking is what you would call, “The People’s Franchise”. Yes, it is franchising by a different name except, you don’t invest hundreds of thousands to millions to put up your store and to stock up on your products.
You are the Store, and the company provides you with the products.

- After 22 years in Marketing, I understand that Marketing is really nothing but MATH. The simple success formula is this:
X number of people contacted = Long term goals fulfilled!
Anyone can have a successful marketing career if they simply get their products, services and or opportunities from enough prospects.
Please internalize this reality. You must contact X number of people in order to achieve your short and long term marketing goals and objectives.
I don’t know what your number is. You don’t know what your number is, but we both know YOU HAVE A NUMBER. The quicker and faster you reach that number, the quicker and faster you will achieve the success you deserve.
